An Iowa Girl…originally from Council Bluffs, Iowa where she attended The Jennie Edmundson School of Nursing and graduated Salutatorian of her class of 1975.
Over the ensuing thirty years, she and her husband Dave raised three children and moved their family of five around the country a few times as her husband was transferred for his career advancement.
Always the one to intermingle her professional career with family life, Nancy’s early assignments were in Medical Surgical areas at Iowa hospitals. During the 10 years in Des Moines, Iowa Nancy worked at Methodist Hospital in surgery where her focus became orthopedics. Following this esteemed position, Nancy was honored to be chosen as a member of the first Heart Team at Methodist when the program was in its infancy.
During the next fourteen years, Nancy and her family were back in Omaha and she again worked in surgery at Saint Joseph Hospital. Subsequent to this assignment, Nancy focused her expertise in the area of elder care, both as an employee and as a volunteer in different facilities.
In 2001, Nancy and Dave followed their two daughters to Colorado where they now make their home in the Denver metro area. They also have 3 grandchildren who recently helped Nancy and Dave celebrate their 45 years of marriage.
Nancy joined Nationwide Anesthesia Services, Inc. in 2005 as a recruiter at the urging of her good friend and fellow Nationwide Anesthesia Services, Inc. recruiter Jan McDonald. The expertise, integrity, and knowledge of our associates are second-to-none and she is very proud to be a significant part of the NASI team! Nancy truly thrives on and enjoys helping clients in their staffing needs. Her niche is helping providers, both new and established in their placements and she looks forward to being of assistance to many more in the future.
